      Hello Bellatives,

30 years! The Pittsburgh Chapter will be celebrating its 30th anniversary of Fall meetings as guests of Marlene and Barry Halbritter at the Laurel Lodge, near Altoona, PA. It’s not too late to register! ALL ABA MEMBERS AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO JOIN US!

The fun begins Wednesday, September 23rd at a Kiwanis banquet as guests of Marlene and Barry. Thursday, Sept. 24th we’ll carpool and travel over rolling hills, stopping at quaint country shops and Amish produce markets; in the afternoon we’ll visit the Isett Heritage Museum in Huntington, PA, home to the area’s largest collection of antiques and memorabilia. That evening we’ll laugh together during the 22nd Annual Corn Auction, started by Ken and Mary Moyer. On Friday we’ll have our business meeting, 3-4-5 bell programs, and Bell & Tell. Our theme is, “America 250.” In between we’ll enjoy “Lunch with the Maestro” of the Altoona Symphony. Saturday’s adventures continue, starting with a visit to the Halbritter bell collection and Midstate Tool & Supply, miniature golf, bufffet lunch, and the Antique Depot in Duncansville. That evening we’ll head to the Mishler Theater and the Altoona Symphony Orchestra. Sunday morning sees sad farewells.

Each evening we’ll have Sweets & Treats as we gather in the Laurel Lodge dining room, or watch the trains on the expansive lodge decks. Interested? Call Kathleen IMMEDIATELY at 724-759-0783

      Hope to see “yunz” there!
