Collection and Use

The American Bell Association is committed to maintaining your trust by respecting and protecting your privacy. We collect and use certain personal data from or about you to help us support our nonprofit mission and serve our membership. We use the information to communicate with you and to provide you with useful information about ABA, and its members, programs and Forum participants. We collect the information you provide to us and data we collect by automated means on our website. The only personal data that we collect includes name, mailing address, telephone number and email address. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Sharing

We do not intentionally share your personal data with unaffiliated entities; and have no control over such plugins, cookies or other tracking means that may be applied by any third-party software or internet provider. Each internet provider has a means by which you can disable cookies and/or data trackers. (The general process is to click on the Tools or Settings link, then look for these links – Advanced, Privacy, Block/Restrict, and Frequency – and select your options. Be sure to save your selections.) Please note that doing so may make using our website difficult or impossible.

For the use of our members we publish a membership directory that includes the collected information you have given us. The membership directory allows our members to communicate with each other to share information and the enthusiasm for bell collecting.
