    Looks like an Evangelists Bell, more likely Belgian than Spanish, could also be English.
    I made few reproductions of such bell, here is the link for it.

    It would help to know what you make your bells out of and what you mean by applying bronzing and brass.

    Chris,

    I am sure Max would agree with me that this bell is a very poor reproduction of a much older bell. It is obvious that it was worked poorly and quickly, probably for a mass production to sell at local tourist spots.

    Ben,

    It maybe a good idea to also apply cathodic protection to that bell. If you are goign to hang in on a metal post, you may want to attach a sacrificial anode bag to it.

    George,

    I suggest you clean the bell yourself, buff it up real nice by hand, then apply beeswax on it to keep it from tarnishing. Laquering will not be a good idea. Also is that bell happens to be an antique, you really do not want ot engrave on it, just order a nice plaque for bell to rest on with your company name on the plaque.
