I have the same bell, I believe it is fairly new and manufactured in China. It is very beautiful but not very valuable.
I have a similiar bell and it is marked Fulper
Please enjoy your bells, they are all treasures. i love just looking at them.
Hi Gary, I have purchased over 3000 bells and never thought about the value of the bell, I bought them because i liked them or thought they were unusual. I love my collection not because it is valuable but because it is beautiful. Good luck to you, Bill
Lois (my wife) won a Marty Bell at the raffle at the 2005 convention in Florida. It is our second, they are very unusual and very beautiful, I don’t know who donated the bell but I thank them.
Hi Margaret, The members of the ABA are always happy to help people to learn about their collections and bells in general. The best way is to post photographs of bells that you want to know about.
Congratulations and Welcome, Bill
The ABA is a wonderful organization with few rules as to what is collectible. I am always amazed and delighted when I see some of the things that people collect as part of their bell collection. I collect and love nodders and its hard for me to see the relationship to bells, but they are part of my bell collection.
Enjoy your music box.
For new collectors I suggest buy bells that you like and can afford, as your collection grows you will start to learn more and will specialize.
If you really love the bell who cares if it is “junk”
