I would appreciate if you could tell me the manufacturer of the bronze bell, marked Paris, that appears in the photo and how old it is.
Diameter: 42cm, Height: 41cm. (Admin. note: This translates to a little over 16 inches in diameter and 16 inches in height.)

I don’t know who made this bell, but it is a beauty. The Madonna and Child on one side of the skirt and the stylized Cross on the other would suggest that it is a church bell. The size could be a ships bell, but the steel clapper would not hold up to salt water favoring my initial opinion that it is a church bell. The bell is of a similar style to some French Paccard Bells. Paccard was founded in 1796. You might send your pictures to Paccard’s website for their opinion.
