I purchased this bell several days ago from an auction. There is no other history that I know of. The bell has an aged lable on the back that states “Made in Spain”. The condition of the bell considering it’s age is very good. It has minor rust and heavy tarnish on the bell. The bell appears to be in it’s original manufactured condition without any prior restoration. The cast iron frame is 18″ high weighs about 12 lbs. the bell is approx.4″ across and a metal rod is attached to the figures arm that when pulled rings the bell. The bell works as intended and has no cracks. I am not a collector of bells and would be gratefull for your assistance in appraising and dating this bell.
      Thank you in advance! Ken

This is a wall mounted patio or entry call bell. It was probably manufactured in the 1960s in Spain. The character who rings the bell is dressed like Sancho Panza. It is a very nice bell. I have not seen one like it before.
