      Elaine in Connecticut writes:

      This ceramic/china bell is 11/4″ tall and is 1 7/8″ in diameter at the base. There is a gold colored label inside which reads “Poinsettia Studios California.” The info I would like for the ceramic bell is for the POTTERY that made this bell and many other bells with different shapes.       That’s a cutie and not a common bell.

      I believe Pointsettia Studios operated in the 1950s (or possibly early 1960s), although I haven’t had a chance to verify this yet.

      They also made bar bells, little ceramic figurines with shot-glass hats that included clappers. You could describe the pottery as making items with “personality”.
