Paul in Minnesota has sent an interesting inquiry:

Dear ABA- I have been producing a documentary film over the last three years entitled Resonance: The Odyssey of the Bells. This film tells the contrasting stories of two Buddhist temple bells that survived the scrap metal drives of WWII, only to become war trophies for the US Navy. They were then given to the cities of Topeka, KS and Duluth, MN. Through extensive research with the US Navy, with the city of Duluth, and overseas in Japan with participants there, I have pieced back together these stories in the form of a documentary film. I am interested in connecting with your organization to find out if you have any suggestions for: potential venues for this film, networking resources, and other thoughts. The website for the project is http://www.resonancefilm.com Our goal is to get a high profile narrator, and then enter the film in festivals and broadcast it on public TV. We have already broadcast a 10-minute excerpt that was aired on TV in conjunction with Ken Burns’ “The War.” Now we’re amassing resources for a longer, 52-minute version. I look forward to hearing from you. Paul Creager

I have edited out the portions of this inquiry that deal with fund raising but have referred Mr. Creager to the “Scholarships and Grants” section of the ABA Website.

If you can provide thoughts or ideas that may be helpful, please post a response.
