      Here is a neat and different way to mount the farm bell.

      Normally these are on a ‘harp’ type mount with a center post underneath.

      These guys appear to have a sawhorse type stand for it, which is something I have only seen in the past for mounting on train/fire engines sometimes.

      I have one just like that up in my bell tower, its a no 4 CS Bell probably

      I agree, probably a no 4.
      Interestingly enough I stumbled over another bell mounted like this (at a cemetery). I hope to go back and get a photo of it for this posting (obviously wasn’t the time to do it before). Bell is a smaller one.

      nos 1 2 and 3 yoke arms are shorter and A frame stands are shorter. The mouth of the bell would rub the stands. Stands can be designed to fit though. I have made my own from designing wood patterns and made them work on the smaller bells.
