I am going to do a presentation on bells for my museum class in March. I was more interested in the little bells which have been made in this country for tourism. They seem to be made out of brass and have a name badge attached I know you do porcelain ones in your country beacause I have one with Property of Alcatraz on. I would be interested in when they were first conceived was it as a offshoot of a foundry making church bells? I wonder who still makes these tourist bells. I am interested in any history of bells, there uses and the myths associated with them. Is there any books you recommend or any internet sites?

      Thank you for your help.

      Regards,
      Simon
