Here’s an interesting Silver plated bell (probably on brass as the magnet does not stick).
No hall marks so plate I believe.

4.5 inches tall by just over 1.5 inches in diameter.
has NE embossed on the back and a tag inside that says NE 1904 (model number I would think).
someone has penned 1964 in ink under the tag, most likely the purchase date?

Appears to be a stylized angel holding up a star, long hair + wings on the back.

I am thinking a Christmas bell but am looking for what the NE stands for. Perhaps someone out there has a catalog for them and knows what the number means?

      Gary,

If you do a search for “New England Collectors Society” up above (not the google search) you’ll find some information about the company that distributed your bell.

      Hey Carolyn!

So NE stands for New England collectors Society, Interesting.
Any ideas where to contact them? There is a New England Bells and a New England Collectors Association, but both appear to be different groups.
Interesting how most of the bells associated with NE are Disney in nature. I wonder if this is maybe Tinkerbell, as in the ‘third star on the right’?

      Garry,

Please do a search for “Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit Bells” and find the posting that begins with BINGO! You find several things about the NE Collectors Society.
