      Royal Eisjbouts Bell Foundry

      Royal Eijsbouts Bell Foundry (1872) is now the world’s largest manufacturer of
      cast bronze bells, carillons, swinging bells, clocks, and bell- and clock towers.

      Royal Eijsbouts cast two large bells recently in the news:

      Notre Dame de Paris
      Notre Dame received and installed 9 new bells this Spring.
      They were rung for the first time on Palm Sunday.
      The smaller 8 bells were cast by Cornille-Havard in France.
      The largest bell was cast by Royal Eijsbouts, the 6000 kg (13,200 lb)
      Petit Bourdon, a swinging bell christened Marie.

      London 2012 Olympics Bell
      Whitechapel Bell Foundry was also involved, but the bell was cast by Royal Eijsbouts.
      This is the world’s largest tuned bell, at 23,000 kg (50,600 lb).
