      Tony in Colorado writes:

I live in Loveland Co. and wonder if you know of any other city in the United States that continue to ring their bells on Veterans day that mark the end of WWI, just as they did back in 1919 when the nation as a whole rang their bells at 11:11am in France. This has been a long standing tradition and as far as we know we are the only City in Colorado that continue this tradition? are there any other you may know of. We have over 13 bell ringers and the bells vary in size and make from a bronze 5″ to this huge 20+” old chruch bell that rings at 5am loaded up in varrious pickup trucks and we drive through town ringing our bells. It’s quit a feeling to here those bells RING though a small town like ours of 60,000 thank you for your time and i hope to get an answer Tony
