I have a 12inch diesel locomotive bell, with a top mount, however I am looking for ideas to mount this for indoor home display. Any help would be appreciated

You could make a frame with welded angle iron or box tubing and a cross bar with “A” frames at either end of the crossbar. This would look similar to a church bell or school bell mounting. This would allow you to move it about. If you have a post or solid stud to anchor it to, you could fashion an “L” shaped steel mounting (1/4 inch thick x 3-4 inche width) to attach it to a post, but given the weight, you would need a substantial post to which it would be anchored. I’ve got an elaborate scroll work bracket with brass engine bell (circa 1850) that I’ve mounted on a piece of steel boiler plate that has wheels and allows the 200 lbs to be rolled from place to place.
