Hello everyone, great forum. I am preparing a CS Bell #24 bell for outdoor display in a community memorial. I have read your excellent advice on cleaning and preparing the surface (very rusty from outdoor storage at a farm) and have almost decided to take all the bell parts to my favorite powder coat painter to have it cleaned and coated with a low gloss powder coat paint. I have used this on many pieces of machinery over the years and it is extremely durable and keeps its good appearance. HOWEVER, I have never done it on a bell. Any one have any experience or advice? Thanks very much for your help! Bill
