      Hi to all!

I found this bell about 20 years ago when I was 8. I found it at my great great grandmother’s house site which had been demolished in the 1940’s. It is brass I think, its about 3 inches tall and has flowery like scrolling around its circumference. It also has India 1014 or 1017 on the top in dots that’s barely legible. Any ideas or thoughts?

      Wendy,

If you haven’t already done so, please go to viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3776 and read the posting about how to post pictures on the “Bell Talk” Forum. It is also important to read the section about resizing pictures. If it still doesn’t work, please email the picture to me at coordinator@americanbell.org and I’ll post it for you but I’d prefer you try again to do it yourself, if possible.

This appears to be a brass bell from India from the late 1940s-1950s. Does it have SSS or Sarna inside? It appears to be a Sarna type bell and could be a Bell of Sarna.
