We have just taken an old 30″ church bell down. It is in great shape. Writing on one side says “Buckeye Bell Foundation 1889”. It has the wheel, but a spook is broken, and a pulley. It has a ringer on the outside and one on the inside. We have contacted a few places but was wondering if you know how much this bell is worth.

It’s foundry, not foundation. Go to eBay and enter bronze church bell. Watch these auctions a few months. Use the winning-bid price as a guide, not the seller’s starting price. If a bell does not sell it indicates the starting price is too high.

The pattern on the Buckeye Bell will influence its value also. A picture would be helpful.
