I recently bought a Number 4 John Deere school bell. On the yoke, it is cast John Deere Plow Co. on one side and St. Louis, MO on the other. I’ve been trying to find information on the bell, and it is missing what I call a cradle (I’ve also heard it called a saddle), the part the yoke sets in. Do you have any information on the bell or where I might find a cradle for it? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
If you can help, please post a response.

Do you have a picture? Most of these bells were cast by CS Bell Co. and sold by Sears, John Deere and others. If it is a CS Bell Co. bell, then you may be able to buy the parts from Prindle Station who is currently casting bells from the original CS Bell patterns.
