Im new to the forum. Im looking for information on this train bell. The bell itself measures 14″ wide by 16″ high. The whole bell measures 20″wide and 29″ tall. It has a double rope arm,why did they use double? Its base seems to be adjustable. Only markings as follows. Base has HL 2128 and cradle has HL 2129. I cant seem to find any information on this? Also whats something like this worth? Any help would be appreciated.[attachment=0:1tkmhls5]006.JPG[/attachment:1tkmhls5]
This appears to be a flat mount Railroad bell. It is difficult to know which railroad it comes from. The dual arms are somewhat unique and may help identify the railroad. This bell is intact and should be worth between $1000-$1500.
