      I think the # I see is 4123 but I could be wrong. I was told it was a train bell it is 16.5″ at the bottom base and 13″ tall

      Welcome to the Bell Talk Forum. To help in identifying or answering you question, it will be helpful if you can supply several photos of the bell as well as any of the additional information:

      • Height and weight of the bell

      • Diameter of the bottom of the skirt

      • Writing or engraving on the bell

      • Material from which the bell was made

      • History about the bell that you may have

      • Photo of the outside of the bell

      • Photo of the inside of the bell

      OK here is what I see I need better glasses I know now It is brass 16-1/2″ at the bottom base and 13″ Tall or high the bell not the holder the words I can see are something DWYER the name before DWYER is ?ADE It also says Boston Mass. SUPERIOR pat ?? 19855 on the holder that holds the bell is the #4123 I am including pictures
      any help would be great

      And weighs about 150lbs and now not sure if it’s brass or maybe nickle
