Does anyone have any information about the A. McGill Foundry that manufactured bells in Chatsworth, Ontario, during the late 19th century.
Searching the ‘net doesn’t bring up any information about McGill Foundary. What type of bells would this foundary have manufactured, and do you have any photo examples?
It is very similar in design to the CS Bell Foundry of Hillsboro #2 bell but the example I saw was lacking the upright and crank, plus the bell had a large crack. The letters on the yoke read “A. McGill Foundry, Chatsworth, Ontario”.
