Until recently I was aware of only two foundries in the United Kingdom who made bronze bells ie. Whitechapel and John Taylors.
      Now I have discovered another.
Stuart Lowe worked at Whitechapel for several years as well as Firth Browns in Sheffield. Now he has established Lowes Bells and operates a small foundry in the North of England. He specialises in the production of small bronze bells and other bronze gifts and offers a custom made service. I have often thought of having bells made to commemorate England’s football world cup win in 1966 (I was at Wembley that day ) and England’s rugby world cup triumph in 2003. The two bells have now been ordered and I will post pictures when they arrive.

      Hi Peter

Here’s a link to a company in Bath, although they refer to their business as ‘bell engineering’ rather than ‘foundry’
