This is one of the bells I have in my collection: A levantine bronze bell over 2000 years old.

The Eerly Bronze Age (EBA) in the Levant corresponds in Egypt to the late Predynastic and Early Dynastic periods (EBI-II) and the Old Kingdom, extending across Dynasties 3-6 (EBIII).

The latest urban phase of the EBA is therefore a contemporary of the so-called “Age of the Pyramids”.

      Bell origin: Levant
Iron Age circa 1st millennium BC
      Of open work design
      H: 58 mm
      Some corrosion

This bell is a unique piece of design refinement undeniable.

Collectors who have similar bells or hold data about this type of bells are invited to exhibit their information.
