I am trying to find out some additional history of this bell.

      It’s Brass, 3.75″ x 4″ with a rope swung clapper.

Stamped LBS on the top, the seller telling me it was a ‘bank bell’.

My research indicates that LBS is a brand used by 10 Real Estate Financing Banks in Germany of the “Sparkassen Finanzgruppe” group.

      I believe it’s from the 1980’s.

I believe it was a promotional give away type bell, possibly for customers with accounts of a certain size.

I would be interested in finding out more, such as it’s exact purpose, which of the 10 banks gave it out and why and when, that kind of thing.

Anyone know anything more about this bell?

      Thanks, Garry
