      Hi, I hope the picture comes out. I have had this bell in my collection for about 5 years. I believe it is a Seneca bell, but I have never seen one like this. The band around the bell is handpainted. Signed Mary Lou and dated 1978. As you can see, it is very similar to the ones pictured in A. A. Trinidad’s book “Glass Bells” on page 61. I have taken this bell to one of my chapter meetings (Northern Calif. Bell Friends) and no one there was able to say that it is a Seneca. Hope some one can help. Thanks.

      Hi, If the clapper isn’t through the top of the handle it isn’t a Seneca. At least I’m not aware of any Seneca’s that have a glued in clapper

      Thank you for your reply. The clapper does go from the top all the way though the handle.
