I have a farm bell, about 17″. The only markings are “USA 3” on the top of the “hanger” and a 3 on the part where the bolts go into the post. The bell has about 3/4″ bevel near the lip. Can anyone tell me the manufacturer? Thank you,

Hi I was told those were reproductions and kinda new compaired to the old ones. The foundry was suppose to be somewhere in Alabama. China makes some now that are nearly thin as paper and are made of cast iron and they break real easy. They even have the clappers up higher inside so the clappers cant hit real hard. The worse farm bells ever made. They are adorned at lip floral or some kinda design but thats all they got going for them. Your bell is better made and thicker at the lip and all of them have USA on the side of the yoke. They sell for a lot more now than when they first started appearing at flea markets and shops. Hold on to it because I have seen them on ebay for more than 300 dollars. Ron
