This post-mount farm bell is a family heirloom. Given to my grandparents in 1879 as a wedding present and from 1879 to 1963 used as a farm bell. They lived in central Indiana, near Zionsville. It has a fine tone but no maker’s mark but does have a #1 on bell and upright bracket. I have never seen a bell, yoke or bracket shaped like this.
Can you tell me the maker? Beyond an heirloom, what is its retail value?
