      i am from australia a mate and i have been making cow bells for our own collections and not doing a bad job if i must say so one thing that beats us is how to apply the bronzing or brass to the bell if any of your readers could help us it would be appreicated we reckon it is important to the tuning regards

      It would help to know what you make your bells out of and what you mean by applying bronzing and brass.

      The Brass dipped US Cow Bells were made of sheet steel that was riveted at the sides and dipped into molten Brass. I do not know if the steel was especially prepared or what flus was used to ensure an even coating.
