II have this 30″? Cast iron bell with no markings or or hardware. There is a crack in the rim you can see. Is it worth saving and finding the rest of it? If so, can anyone help me to ID it and locate the parts.

Since the bell is flat topped, you can turn it upside down on the floor (i.e., mouth upwards). Then tap it with a mallet at various places away from the crack and about two inches in from the rim. If it clunks instead of ringing, it’s not worth keeping unless you can somehow get the crack welded.

New support parts might be available from http://www.lowerbells.com.

If it rings with the crack like it is, should i go ahead and weld it, or leave ot like it is?
