There is a web site, Brosamer Bells, run by Robert Brosamer, and am interested if anyone can provide some info on this site, i.e., is it reputable?

I bought a train bell from Brosamer Bells about 12 years ago (before ebay was popular). It was packed well and restored very nicely. But looking back, with all the train bells for sale on ebay, I paid a bit too much at the time for it.

Bob Brosamer is a legitimate dealer in large restored bronze bells and railroad bells. The bells are of high quality, but are priced at the high end of market price. He is expert in restoration and shipping of bells, and he stands behind his bells.

Bob is a knowledgeable dealer and his prices are on the high end. I first dealt with him thirty years ago when he was just getting into antiques and now only deals with bells. His interest is either in buying or selling, not helping you restore a bell. He considers locomotive bells as small and prefers large bells. I was at his business several years ago where he had a large metal machinery shed, maybe 40 ft. by 80 ft. and it was full of bells, from church and school bells of 26 inches up to some that were waist high. He is very proud of the fact that he has a world wide market.
