Sometimes we bell enthusiasts are presented with a challenge. I have one right now. I’ve got my eye on a bell in a Town nearby. It might come to nothing but the chase is fun!

I’ve stopped worrying about the fairly low activity on this website. We each have our reasons for what we do or don’t do. If one or two people can get a sense of the fun I have from my little adventures that’s enough for me.
Just posted photos – there’s a rare opportunity to buy an old English school bell tower! Temptation resisted so far by yours truly.

Anyone who looked at my blog may wish to know that this little venture is more or less finished. The bell has been restored to the best of my limited ability and fixed in it’s new home on my garage by the road in my village.
I have posted several photos which may be of interest.
At last my persistence has paid off. A little newspaper publicity has identified someone with memories of my old school bell being rung in the 1940s. I have updated my blog with the details. So if at first you don’t succeed………
