As my bell object for March I have choosen this very special bell push.

Its origin goes back to France were around 1900
      (during the Art Nouveau period)
the influence of Japanese Art was very popular among the French artists.

The present bell push is a fine example of it.

It shows a Geisha sitting in a bath waiting to attend a client.

The bronze base measures 9 x 13 cms. and is 13 cms. high.

Figure and side pylons are made of ivory and the roof construction is a
      transparent Bakelite.
