Hi! I’m hoping to replace a bell that used to be in our family. Unfortunately, I don’t know its origin and all I have is this grainy photo. I remember it being a large bell, maybe 16-20 inches in diameter, possibly cast iron. Does anyone out there know what type/make of bell it might be? So grateful for your help!

      Hi, beegoode,

It looks like there is some writing on the bracket to which the actual bell is attached. Is it possible for you to read what it says? We have several forum members who are very knowledgeable about big bells who can probably help you. Also, you may want to do an Internet search for sellers of big bells. They may help you in your search for one to buy.

Good luck! Let us know if you find one!

      Carolyn

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! I can’t read the what’s written on the bell either. I’ll see if I can track down a better photo that might show the writing.

        Thanks again,

        – B.

Now that the holidays are over, I’m hoping that some of the ABA big bell experts will have the time to step forward to help you out. Good luck!
