I came across this site today. Here they buy and sell bells, for those who are interested in prices, it might be a useful reference.
Also it’s a good starting point for those who have questions! (No I don’t work for them, I just found the site!)
They also show the bells by category – so you can see some of the various types of bells (church/fire/ship for example) and how they were hung. This answers a lot of questions I see on this site about identifying a bell and how it was hung/used.
I’ve referred to this site in previous comments when someone was looking for a bronze bell. Bob Brosamer has quality bells that are fully refurbished prior to sale. His prices are a bit high, but he provides a quality product. He carefully removes the bells from their bellfries, researches them and refurbishes them. He is also expert at shipping and installing them, thus you get what you pay for. This site has a varied collection of Bronze Church Bells, Ship’s Bells, Fire Engine Bells, Railroad Bells, etc.

another site to check is http://www.Lowerbells.com . Todd Lower is adding to his site now… check the ‘bells for sale’ section. Unlike on the brosamersbells site, he also is very helpful to talk to for general information on larger bells and also for inquiring about bell parts.
