I added a new piece to my collection in the album ANTIQUE BELLS.
It is an very old bronze bell cast in Lorest├ón in XII,th – to XI,th centuries B.C.
Lorestan Province is a historic territory and province of western Iran, amidst the Zagros Mountains.
Lorestan was invaded and settled by the Iranian Medes in the 2nd millennium BC The Medes absorbed the indigenous inhabitants of the region, primarily the Elamites and Kassites, by the time the area was conquered by the Persians in the 1st millennium BC.
      It’s height is 3,3 cm.

In this album you can see another one, comming from the same area, but older (cast in bronze et the end of 3,rd millenium BC) and it is 12 cm. height
