35a-1 Collectable Antique Brass Foot/Fire/Alarm/Door Bell
You are bidding on a collectable antique brass bell.
I’m not sure what it was used for possibly a fire, alarm, door or foot bell.
The round bell section is approx 145mm (5.8in) diameter, back plate is approx 180mm (7.2in) in length, and height is approx 160mm (6.4in) at highest point, total length is approx 230mm (9.2in).
It has what appears to be a wall or floor fixing plate and then a sort of knob which I presume was hit with either hand or foot to ring the bell. Very heavy weighs over 2 kg (4.5lb).

This would often be known in this country as a Foot Gong,
to be mounted under the floorboards of a vehicle and normally operated by the driver.
(I might have placed a bid, but overseas shipping would cost more than the item itself.)
