180c – Figural Desk Call Counter Hotel Bell Two Dogs Vtg Old Antique Brass As Is
Old figural solid brass desk bell with two dogs – to restore. One rear leg is missing. The bell is rung by lifting the clapper. It may originally have been spring loaded and rung by pressing and then releasing the clapper. It stands about 5 3/4 inches tall. It does still stand, despite the missing leg. It is Victorian era, from about 1880, but I don’t find any markings.

Even with the broken leg, I am surprised this did not sell at a much higher price.

180d – 19th Century Hand Chased Bronze Bell
Magnificent 19th century bronze bell with putti handle and foliage and horse decoration to housing.
Signed and 6″ high.

I am not certain about the hand chased part. The seller mentions that it is signed, but does not list the signature nor show a picture. In any case, this is the type of figural bell that I especially like.
