138a – 2nd World War Victory Bell- Metal From German AIrcraft
2nd world war RAF Benevolent Fund Souvenir bell made from metal from a shot down German aircraft.
Has images of Churchill,Stalin & Roosevelt.
Has been repaired a while ago on the handle.
After having only once seen documentation of this unusual variant of the RAF-Benevolent Fund-Victory
bell, and that dating back to 1980, it is strange to find two of these bells offered within two weeks.
This version has been called a “flower pot” shape, is taller than the usual, and has the pictures placed higher on the base.
This auction was open to international buyers, not UK only, and selling price was more than double.

138c – RARE Antique c1785 HP Porcelain FIGURAL Dinner Servant BELL Ludwigsburg DRESDEN
Rare antique porcelain figural dinner or servant’s bell .. an elegant woman wearing a splendid gown, carrying a fan in her right hand. Entirely and meticulously handpainted .. delicate facial features; Dresden flowers; ruffled cuffs, collar and bonnet; gilt trim. Apx 6 1/4″ X 4″ overall. Ludwigsburg mark, in blue underglaze (c1750-1785), plus artist’s entwined initials, in gold. Please note her left hand and fore-arm has been repaired (see close-up photos); otherwise very good condition.
