This is an Emil Huddy bronze figural bell. The E.H. engraved inside the skirt of the bell is Emil Huddy’s trademark. The bell was cast in 1971 and was #73 in the production. Emil Huddy was an ABA member from California who died in the late 1970s. He produced a large number of high quality bronze figural bells during his productive years of the 1960s & 70s. Many had Native-American figures such as Sacajewea and Chief Joseph. One of his last bells produced was a reproduction of the Tsar Kolokol Bell for Henry McShane who sold them in the mid 1970s. Every Huddy bell is a work of art utilizing the “Lost Wax” process and is highly desirable to bell collectors. You have a beautiful bell. Treasure it and enjoy it.
