Dave: It’s an early CS. In 1882 all bell components were redesigned and the lettering was changed to CS Bell Company. The clapper ball should be about 3 1/2 inches in diameter and strike the thickest part of the lip. You can probably see on close examination worn areas where the original clapper struck. The crooked yoke repair might cause a problem with rotation. Old A frames turn up occasionally on eBay but I’d find a good machine shop to design a pair along with a clapper. Fortunately the wheel is intact. Most are damaged or missing.
