The Friends of the ABA is a way to support the American Bell Association. Donations are placed in the General Fund of the ABA and donors are acknowledged annually in The Bell Tower magazine.

Donations to the Friends of the ABA are always appreciated. If you are giving a gift to honor or memorialize someone, please state the names of the person/s, whether in honor of or in memory of that person, the donor's name/s, and the name and address of the relative to be notified. Please make checks payable to the Treasurer, ABA and send them to:

My wife has collected bells for a number of years. We recently downsized into our last home and we do not have enough room for most of her bells anymore. Instead of selling them off, we are searching for a way to donate her collection to a museum or charity that might be able to use them or sell them for revenue purposes. She has not counted the number of bells but we think she has more than 200 but less than 400 bells to donate. It doesn't appear that there are any bell museums that display anything other than a single collection. We saw your site and noticed that you have a gift/donate subject area and wondered if your organization would want to receive her collection as a gift to use as you see fit. Is that something that you would want to do?

Dear Baldblonde,

Thank you for your generous offer but the American Bell Association does not accept donations of bell collections. However, I have some suggestions that may help you. I will send them to you via private email. I hope they will be helpful.

Good luck!
